Winter Electives
As this was our first elective course, I was excited what it is like. My course was Performative Infrastructure. The first day our mentor Mohit Shelare made us do some weird physical activities to make us informative about a human body and various movements and co-ordination of it. Also we sensed voices around ourselves and heard how there are different layers helping to make our environment.
The second day we saw some refrences of various artist who with the help of their body create a atmosphere.
Third day was a working day as Mohit asked us to choose a gesture and click some photograph of that with refrence to the artist we saw a day before. It was a new experience to click photos in public that too of common people doing common things. I chose the movement of a cobblers hand. We had to click photos of the gestures with a visible movement. Also I tried using the same gesture on different material replicating the action.
We were the supposed to make a video out of this.

On the fourth day we transformed the green studio into a small pathway with the help desks. In that pathway both the sides were densified with photos and videos on loop.
